Logo Usage On Social
We only use the Crowe logo in two very specific situations when creating social posts.
The inclusion of the Crowe logo in social media posts is reserved for specific situations. Other than these specific situations we rely on channel branding and social media platform features to convey that a post originates from Crowe. Do not use the logo on social posts in any other situations.
1. When to use: Social channels of authorised individuals
In instances where authorized individuals share content beyond Crowe's official channels, such as on their personal social media accounts, the posts may lack the immediate brand visibility associated with our official channels. Hence, it becomes essential to explicitly indicate the connection to Crowe. To assist in this, we provide guidelines on how to seamlessly incorporate the Crowe logo into posts, enabling us to establish a clear association even outside our official social media channels.
Please refer to the following guidelines to ensure consistent and appropriate use of the Crowe logo in alignment with the broader network.

Clear area
To preserve the visual integrity of the Crowe Logo, we have adapted the clear area guidance from our offline guidelines in order to simplify and tailor the approach across our social media. We use the height of the Pinnacle symbol as our measurement to define the clear area around the logo.
Keeping this area free from other text, graphics, or images is crucial to ensure the logo’s legibility and impact.

Sizing
For simplicity and standardisation we have defined three set sizes of logo that we use for our social media posts across all platforms. We use the vertical height of the Pinnacle symbol as measured in pixels.
- Small – 50px
- Medium – 70px
- Large – 80px

Template updates!
We have updated our Crowe digital toolkit with new templates that have the correct logos for each channel and format across the common social media channels. Be sure to check the library and use the correct size for the post you are creating.
Placement
In order to maintain the flexibility of our design system and help you create dynamic but consistent posts for social media, we allow the Crowe logo to be placed in any corner of the format you are designing for. This gives you the flexibility to position other elements dynamically, and ensure that the logo has enough room to stand out and maintain its legibility.
Borders
We have introduced a simple border system to help with positioning the logo consistently and provide some structure across multiple formats and platforms. You should also use the border to help align other elements in your post, especially typography, so that things align nicely with the logo.
To keep things simple, the border is the same height of the pinnacle in the Crowe logo. We have defined which logo size is used for each format across common social media platforms and you can find the templates in your Adobe library.
We also recommend that you use the same measurement to create a border around the logo, this helps to keep it clear from other elements of your design.
In the example below we have used 50px to define the border of the format and also the border around the logo.

Logo colour
To keep things easy and consistent we have defined some simple rules around colour when you are using the Crowe logo on your social media posts. There are three simple options that should cover must uses:
Full Colour
When the Crowe logo sits on white background use the full colour version.
White Wordmark
When the Crowe logo sits on a dark background use the White Wordmark version. This allows the Pinnacle to remain Amber and we get that recognisable pairing of our brand colours.
All White
When the Crowe logo sits on Amber background use the All White version. This version is also suitable for image backgrounds.
What to avoid
When using the Crowe logo on a social post its important to ensure that its clear and legible, so make sure you avoid these common mistakes so that it can always look its best.
Don't use a black logo.
Don't use a full colour logo when its positioned on an area of amber or indigo if combined with a SmartPath.
Don't place a logo over the decision path of a SmartPath.
Don't position a logo on a busy image.
2. When to use: Co-branding lock-ups
In certain instances, we aim to showcase our collaborations and partnerships with other brands on our social media platforms to underscore the strength of our relationships and mutual support. To maintain clarity and consistency in such co-branded content, we have created a straightforward lock-up that ensures a cohesive presentation.
This lock-up serves as a visual identifier, distinctly communicating the collaboration between Crowe and our esteemed partners. It is designed to be easily integrated into our social media posts, providing a clear and unified representation of our joint efforts.
For guidelines on incorporating the co-branded lock-up effectively please follow the instructions below. This ensures that our celebration of partnerships is not only visually appealing but also aligns seamlessly with our brand identity across various social media channels.

Positioning and spacing
Once again we use the height of the pinnacle to measure the spacing. We use this to define the space between the Crowe logo and the partner logo. We also use this to define the length of the dividing line that sites in between the two logos.
Make sure to align the partner logo within the area marked below, and follow the guide as best you can for horizontal and vertical/ square partner logos.

Colour
The same colour principles that we have described previously still apply to when we use partnership lock-ups. However its important to ensure that you adhere to any guidance from the partner brand in relation to colours and do not apply Crowe brand colours to a partner brand.
The colour of the divider line should match the colour of the pinnacle in the Crowe logo.

Remember
Please make sure you have correct permissions in place to use logos from the owner of any partner brand before you publish co-branded materials.
